What We are Doing to Help Keep You Healthy -Update on our Response to Covid-19

We're operating differently but still meeting your needs while keeping you and our staff safe. Yes, we can fix your bike. Yes, we can help you choose a bike, a helmet, and any other accessories. We are providing safe and personalized service while social distancing and not having customers inside the store. We recognize that some people prefer this shopping method while others do not, and we respect those differences.

Hours: Tues through Sat 11:00-5:00. Closed Sunday and Monday.

Service and Repairs will be dropped off and picked up curbside. Upon arrival, call the store at 860-659-0114 and select the first option for curbside service.  The attendant will guide you to place your bike(s) in the appropriate rack, speak to you about your needs, come outside, get your bike, and bring it inside for assessment. The Service Advisor will assess your bike and call you back on the same day, provide a quote, and schedule the service. To pick up, simply come to the store during business hours, call us when you arrive, and we will reverse the process, bringing your bike outside. And just like that ... you are reunited with your repaired bicyle!

Retail Sales: How do we help you pick the best bicycle and accessories? It's all about personalized service and over 17 years experience. Call us anytime during business hours for a personalized telephone consultation with either Steve or Deb. We'll look at the computer together while we talk. We'll go through the same process as in-store to collaborate on the proper type of bike for YOUR needs, look at models and colors together on the computer, and we'll use our size and fit expertise in consultation with your measurements and our bike geometry charts to get it right! We'll do the same for accessories. We've had many success stories. What if you don't love the bike? We'll just figure it out and exchange it - you will not be stuck with anything you do not love! Our mission statement says it all "We succeed when you enjoy using your bike." 

Payment will be via phone or website, and pick-ups will be curbside, so you have no risk from personal contact. We will smile and wave! You might not see our smiles under our masks, but they are there!

Tips for shopping our on-line catalog:

We have a full product catalog on our website at www.BicyclesEast.com under the heading (you guessed it!) "Product Catalog." Use it like you would use any other on-line ordering catalog. This catalog includes both items that we have in stock and items that we can order. Our primary suppliers feed us their catalog inventories, and our catalogs update on a daily basis. 

How to know if an Item is in-stock at Bicycles East: When you click on an item, the item will open and, to the right, it will say either "In Stock which means we have it in the store, "In Warehouse" which means our supplier has it and we can get it, or "Call for availability" which means that, well, you should call or email for availability. Please note that if a bike is "in stock" it may not necessarily be built and immediately ready for pick-up. Sold bikes get priority build status, and we will contact you when it is ready, usually within a day or two.

If you want to streamline your product search to in-stock items only, once you select a product category, filter options will appear on the left-hand side. Simply click "in-stock."
